I tried to move (export) a DB from MSDE to SQL and it wont let me (not DTS
in MSDE?)
I also tried to backup the DB and restore to SQL but SQL didnt like the
version and couldnt convert it.
is there an easy way to move over this db?
thanks
Justin
Check that MSDE is not a later version than your main SQL Server.
If that's ok, follow the steps outlined in the following article (some of
which you might already know)
http://support.microsoft.com/default...;en-us;Q314546
If that doesn't work, please post some more information, like the complete
error messages you get.
